December 21, 2013Google says 97% of consumers search for local businesses like yours online using Google places, and when they do, are you really there to grab your share of customers? Only focusing on optimizing content for your business website and competing for Google search ranking is just not enough. People need to know exactly where your business is located and how your office / hotel/ restaurant building looks like from the roof top. Google places is a free service from Google and you should be taking advantage of it already...
How to list your business on Google?
- Just go to Google Places and click get started button. In next page you will be asked to submit your business details. Take your time to submit your important information: website URL, address, Business Phone, Hours of operations. You can skip photos and videos part for later.
- Once you are done, Google needs to verify that you are sole owner of the business that you are going to list on Google Places. You will be presented with options to validate your listing, just choose an option that suits you and click finish.
That's it! you are done, your business will start showing up in Google Places in no time. That means more good reviews and more ratings for your company, which is always good for any business, isn't it?
